Pete Hemsley put together this great double album of ambient gems and ,whilst living and making a name for himself in Oz, did a deal for it's release through Sony. Pete and bassist Craig Sunderland, who played drums and bass respectively on New Life, approached me when we'd finished recording and said they fancied trying a few re-mixes of Solstice tracks. I was both intrigued and chuffed so I ran off some samples from the multi-track tapes and they went to work, the results are startling. In fact the remix of Morning Light (incuded here as a free download so don't tell Sony) was released as a single and along with a remix of Journey has been used on a number of soundtracks including, bizarrely, a soap opera called Heartbreak High. Pete added these tracks to his own works and included a couple of out takes from the lost album and some early collaborations with myself. It's a trip!!
